- Un cloche pied : un pied d’impulsion et de réception identique.
- Une foulée bondissante : impulsion sur un pied des réceptions sur l’autre.
- Un saut en longueur.
Article 186 :
« Le saut s’effectuera de telle sorte que le concurrent retombe d’abord sur le pied avec lequel il a pris son appel, puis au second saut sur l’autre pied, à partir duquel le troisième saut sera fait ».
Historique:
Cette discipline de l’athlétisme est d’origine celte des le VIIIe siècle, les Écossais et Irlandais en héritent, et le codifie en 1850 sous la forme : cloche pied, cloche pied, saut.
Parallèlement les Américains développent un autre saut : le hop - step - saut. Officialisation de cette forme de saut au début du XXe siècle.
Un entraînement spécifique apparaît après la deuxième guerre mondiale en Pologne et en URSS.
Deux techniques distinctes apparaissent :
- La technique polonaise : dépasser sur la conservation de la vitesse.
- La technique de Russes quant à elle est basée sur la puissance musculaire.
Aujourd’hui on pratique la conservation de la vitesse.
Les records:
Le record du monde masculin est détenu par le Britannique Jonathan Edwards avec 18 m 29 en 1995, celui des femmes est de 15m50 par la Russe Inessa Kravets.
Les records de France :
Le record de France masculin en extérieur est détenu par Teddy Tamgho : 17m58.
Le record de France féminin est détenu par Nzola Meso Ba Teresa : 14m69.
Technique:
Enchaîner des impulsions pour aller loin
Se réceptionner = Impulsions efficaces
Perte de vitesse = Production/besoin de vitesse
Limiter les pertes de vitesse
Les pertes de vitesse sont inéluctables :
Exemple avec Quesada champion du monde du Triple saut à Athènes :
- Sortie cloche pied : 9,65 m/s
- Sortie foulée : 8,54 m/s
- Sortie saut finale : 7,26 m/s
Différentes vitesses :
- Vitesse de course.
- Vitesse d’envol.
- Vitesse pendant le saut.
Pour sauter loin il faut sauter vite.
La vitesse et la source d’énergie indispensable à tout saut et déterminant au moment de l’envol. C’est la vitesse d’envol. Mais il faut être capable techniquement et physiquement de l’utiliser, de la gérer.
D’où la notion de vitesse optimale.
Car plus l’on court vite, moins l’on est stable, et plus il y a de pression sur les pieds.
La course d’élan
Technique :
La mise en action (foulée amples).
Le placement (le corps se redresse, les genoux montent).
L’accélération (prise de vitesse).
Règlement :
Planche d’appel réduite = Besoin de précision
L’appui de réception d’un saut est aussi impulsion du saut suivant, il faut que la réception d’un saut permette de produire une impulsion efficace.
L’appui : le pied et l’interface entre le sol et le sauteur.
La phase d’appui se caractérise par trois actions :
Poser: Le pied doit être armé avant de se poser, la plante du pied relevée, permet de mettre en tension les muscles postérieurs de la jambe.
Le pied va se poser légèrement en avant du centre de gravité. Pour cela le pied doit être préparé par un cycle de jambe (l’arrondi talon-fesse).
Toute la surface du pied rentrant contact avec le sol.
Passer (le centre de gravité placé au-dessus du pied): Lors de l’appui le bassin doit parcourir le maximum de chemin. Le bassin passe au-dessus de l’appui.
Se propulser: Le pied arrive au sol avec un mouvement d’avant en arrière, c’est le griffé.
Le buste doit être perpendiculaire au sol.
Interview par l’équipe de Jonathan EDWARDS le 25/08/2003 :
« L’aspect déterminant dans le triple saut c’est la position du corps qui doit rester stable … En claire si je reste droit je peux sauter 6m30, 6m40 dans la dernière phase. mais si je suis incliné vers l’avant, ça ne dépassera pas 5m80 ».
Le rôle des segments libres :
Les bras et la jambe libre, enrayent les rotations : compensation des masses.
Le travail des bras : 2 techniques :
- La technique course : travail simultané
- La technique des 2 bras : travail simultané
C’est le travail alternatif qui permet l’équilibre.
Équilibrer les sauts :
Il faut répartir l’amplitude des sauts.
Répartition optimale : 36%, 28%, 36%.
Chez les débutants il y a une mauvaise répartition dans le saut. Il y a deux cas de figure :
- Le double sauteur : priorité donnée au premier et aux derniers sauts.
1er saut : long, intention de gagner beaucoup d’espace au premier bond « ce qui est pris n’est plus à prendre ».
2ème saut : court, rééquilibre le sauteur.
3ème saut : long de nouveau.
- Le sauteur en longueur : priorité donnée au dernier saut qui représente 60% du saut.
Il faut équilibrer l’amplitude en équilibrant la hauteur des sauts : notion d’angles d’envol.
L’angle formé d’une part par l’horizontale et d’autre part par la tangente à la parabole du centre de gravité au moment de l’envol.
L’exemple de EDWARDS :
Athènes 1997 : 17m69 - 12°, 12°, 19° / Göteborg 1995 : 18m29 - 13°, 13°, 21°
Le renforcement de l’impulsion :
Le travail de la jambe libre et des bras permet une propulsion du sauteur.
Jambe libre : retour dirigé par la cuisse et le genou.
Bras : mouvement dirigé par les épaules.
Le gainage :
Transmettre les forces du pied au centre de gravité du sauteur. Le bassin est en rétroversion et verrouillé, pour pouvoir ricocher.
Résumer :
Triple sauter c’est :
- Courir.
- S’équilibrer.
- Ricocher.
Les qualités physiques nécessaires:
- Vitesse
- Coordination.
- Puissance (= force explosive)
- Tonicité
La force explosive (ici force des extenseurs du pied).
Il faut une intensité maximale en un minimum de temps.
On applique le principe de mise en tension / renvoi : principe de plyomètrie.
Le règlement:
La mesure: de la marque la plus proche faite dans le sable, jusqu’à la ligne d’appel ou son prolongement.
Mesurage perpendiculaire à la ligne d’appel ou son prolongement.
Les cas de nullités :
- Appel au-delà de la planche.
- Impulsion en dehors du couloir.
- Mettre une main en dehors du sable et en arrière des jambes.
- Sortie du sable en revenant vers la planche.
- Saut en culbute interdit.

All this being said, Steve Jobs is taking a people in the right direction and at the very least getting people talking about open standards as opposed to closed ones. But if he wanted to really push open standards why wouldn’t he push Theora since it’s is free, open sourced, and void of the kind of licensing that comes with using H.264?
